Israel's Ariel Sharon has suffered a stroke today.
Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was rushed to hospital in Jerusalem on Sunday evening after suffering a minor stroke, the Israeli media reported.Posted by Alan at December 18, 2005 12:38 PMAccording to Channel 2 television, 77-year-old Sharon was taken to Hadassah University Hospital, Ein Karem, after complaining of feeling unwell.
Channel 10 news said that the prime minister was unconscious when he arrived, but later regained consciousness. Channel 2 said that Sharon was in a confused state, and that he had been taken for a neurological scan.
